Durable carbon removal, one numbered tonne at a time

Each CO₂ Removal Certificate (CORC) is one tonne of CO₂ removed and stored in buried wood for 100+ years. We retire your CORCs on the Puro Registry in your name, and every one has its own serial number you can check yourself.

The average American's carbon footprint is about 16 tonnes of CO₂ a year. Buy 16 tonnes and go zero carbon footprint for the year. Footprint figure: commonly cited U.S. per-person estimate (all greenhouse gases, CO₂-equivalent).

Puro-certified, very high-quality CORCs

Every credit we sell is a CO₂ Removal Certificate certified under the Puro Standard, a standard dedicated to durable carbon removal.

Certified by Puro.earth

Issued under the Puro Standard's Terrestrial Storage of Biomass methodology, only after the removal has happened and been verified.

Independently audited

Each issuance is checked by an outside auditor before Puro issues it.

Durable: 100+ years

Rated CORC 100+. The wood is buried, keeping its carbon out of the atmosphere for a century or more.

Serial-numbered and public

Every tonne has its own number on the public Puro Registry, so each one is sold and retired only once.

Pricing

Price per CORC (one tonne of CO₂ removed). Your whole order is charged at the tier its size falls in.

Buy CORCs

Pay by bank transfer (ACH) through Stripe. We retire your CORCs on the Puro Registry after the payment has cleared, and your order page shows the retirement record.
