Woodcache Corp · CO₂ Removal Certificates (CORCs)

What you are buying

The permanent retirement, in the name of the beneficiary you give, of the stated number of CO₂ Removal Certificates issued by the Puro Registry to Woodcache Corp. Each CORC represents one tonne of CO₂ removed and durably stored.

Payment and timing

You pay by bank transfer (ACH) through Stripe. We reserve your CORCs when you start checkout and hold them for up to 24 hours while you complete payment. After your payment clears we wait a few business days before retiring the CORCs, because bank payments can be reversed during that time. We then retire them on the Puro Registry and your order page shows the record.

Refunds

Retirement on the Puro Registry cannot be undone. We refund in full if you ask before your CORCs are retired. After retirement there are no refunds.

Payment reversals

If a bank payment is reversed or disputed after we have retired your CORCs, the amount remains owed to Woodcache Corp.

What you may say

You may say that you funded the removal and durable storage of the stated tonnes of CO₂ through Woodcache Corp, certified by Puro.earth. The Puro Registry entry is the official record.

Privacy

We collect your name, email and the beneficiary name to process and record your order. They are stored by Woodcache Corp (on Cloudflare) and by Stripe, which handles your bank details; we never see or store your bank account numbers.
